Team Evergreen Washington is a group of individuals, organizations, businesses and other Washington residents who believe in doing something to alleviate the suffering of others. Whether it's a fund raiser, a simple pledge drive or just spreading the word, they have come together to make a difference in the lives of the poorest of the poor in another part of the world - the Philippines.
Founded by members of NetWork Christian Ministries, a local faith community in Federal Way, the team's goal is to build Gawad Kalinga spec'd villages in cooperation with GK-USA. Although started by an evangelical faith community, the team's vision is to work with people from all denominations, backgrounds and political affiliations to simply help families who are in dire poverty.
For some, it is an expression of their faith. For others, a patriotic duty or an act of heroism. And still for others, a noble call to simply help their fellow man. Whatever your motivation is for helping out, we welcome it!
Come and join us as we journey towards building back the dignity of our less fortunate brothers and sisters by helping them build decent homes, teaching them the values of living in community and giving them hope for a decent future. No team member is unimportant and every contribution is significant.

About its Founders
NetWork Christian Ministries in Federal Way was a community of faith made up of people from all walks of life. It was a place where people desired to live out the command of their Savior to serve their communities in the way that He did when He walked the earth. Each individual saw himself or herself as part of a large family where people respected, loved and cared for each other. On Sundays at 10 AM, they gathered together to worship their Savior at the Federal Way Community Center. Eventually, these members moved on to different ministries but they remain united in the cause of eradicating poverty from their beloved nation.
NetWork Christian Ministries in Mountlake Terrace continues to do ministry in the area.
