TEW Members Receive Training from GKUSA

The weekend of September 10-12 saw the members of TEW getting some training from Fredy Guevara, head of GKUSA Northwest region.  Fredy gave out more information about the GK movement, introducing materials and updating the locals on what's going on with GK both in the Philippines and the US.  Some of the most recent updates include the fact that GK is now expanding to even more countries than before - such as Colombia and India.   Practical information on how to make presentations, share the vision and resources available to all were just some of the tips he gave.
One of the exciting aspects of the GK movement is the fact that it is dynamic and in spite of its size, it can adapt to changes due to lessons learned and due to circumstances on the ground - yet still keep the momentum going. There have been many changes percolating in the GK family and those will affect how TEW promotes the movement in the future.  The basic vision remains the same, though - to make a positive difference in the lives of the poor and in the lives of TEW members.  TEW is on board with GK-USA on all their goals.
