Walang Iwanan - TEW decides on this year's theme

Team Evergreen Washington is sponsoring an awareness fund raiser dinner at the New Hong Kong Restaurant on Jackson Street in Seattle.  It will be held on Saturday, May 14, 2011 at 6:30 PM.  Tickets will be sold at $25 and table sponsors are welcome!  The theme of the evening will be:

Walang Iwanan No Families Left Behind

One of the values promoted by the GK Movement is the spirit of camaraderie and community - the idea that all are valuable and nobody should be left behind as we all move towards progress.  In that light, TEW is promoting the establishment of GK communities so that ALL may enjoy dignity and hope as we aim to lift ALL families from poverty.  It is a daunting task - one might even say an impossible goal.  But we dare to dream for the poor - starting with those in the Philippines.
